Hi, thanks for being here! My name is Miranda and I grew up in London, England, and have lived in California since 2007 when I moved to San Diego to study Massage Therapy. I met my husband here, and we now have a beautiful son, and two wonderful step-children.

I am an E-RYT 200hr Yoga Instructor and Intuitive Reiki Master. I am a Yoga Alliance Registered teacher, accredited "E" (Experienced) with over 1000hrs taught. I also belong to the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP), and teach Reiki Level 1, 2 and Master Teacher levels.

I completed my 200 hour Teacher Training course through Hapa Yoga in May 2016, and attended a Yin Yoga Teacher Training through Mosaic Yoga in February 2017. I have taken certified courses on Yoga Therapy, the Chakras, and a training with Warriors for Healing (therapeutic approaches to teaching individuals with with PTSD or disabilities). I have taught as an assistant on 3 different Yoga Teacher Trainings at Hapa Yoga, and am thrilled to be able to pass down the incredible knowledge and wisdom of this 5000 year old practice.

In 2002, I became attuned to Reiki levels I & II in Bangkok, Thailand through Reiki Master Emorn Haridass, and I took my Reiki Mastership through Reiki Master Susana Jones ​(UrbanYogi) in San Diego, CA in 2017. Reiki and the principles of Reiki have been a guiding force in my life, and I am extremely grateful to be able to attune others to Reiki. I heard the call to attune as many people as I can, to light up the world and create positive change.
I also trained as a 500hr Massage Therapist at Mueller College in 2007, and worked in private practice specializing in Acupressure massage, Thai massage, and Circulatory massage. I no longer offer massage since the birth of my son in 2013, but I do love to incorporate my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, meridian lines, and the energetic aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine to my Yoga Instruction, as well as to my hands-on-adjustments to assist you in yoga postures, and of course Savasana massage!
I am passionate about living a healthy life and I work hard to bring consciousness to every aspect of my life: mind, body, and soul. I studied Holistic Nutrition at the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas, CA in 2009, and have also studied basic Ayurveda. I love to eat healthy and teach my kids that food is medicine, and that we should utilize it to heal and fortify our bodies.

I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to live, work and practice yoga in different countries across the world, including India and Thailand. I lived in South East Asia for six years from 2001 to 2007, immersing myself in the Buddhist culture, and taking several silent 10-day courses in Vipassana meditation, as well as learning Thai & Shiatsu massage.
My world travels have given my an opportunity to work in many different fields: I was a Bar Owner for three years in Cambodia, I edited news scripts and taught English in Laos and Bangkok. I was a Travel Agent in London, and I’ve waited tables in Australia, Guatemala and Aspen. Traveling has been one of the best teachers for me. I have backpacked across several different continents, and coming to know the natural beauty and diversity of our Mother Earth and her inhabitants, has been one of the most fulfilling things in my life. I have always somehow been in service to others. I’ve worked to help people to have a good time, learn more, and allow the space for healing to occur.

Intuitive Reiki Healing​

Reiki has been a huge part of my life and an essential part of who I am since 2003. Through sending distant Reiki, I learned that I was able to tune into messages and symbology that have helped others to deeper healing. I completed an Intuitive Healing course with Dawn Elle in 2018, where I learned additional energy healing methods and honed my intuitive reading skills. I am always continuing to learn methods to tuning in to the messages of Spirit and our Spirit Guides more powerfully.

I offer Intuitive Chakra Readings to bring a deeper opportunity for healing to my clients. These sessions combine all of my life experience, gifts and skills in a way which helps others to heal, find peace, and connect more deeply with themselves.

Yoga
​
Yoga is a path to mindfulness, to living an authentic life, and to accessing your Highest Self. Yoga teaches us to accept what is, rather than what we might want it to be. The practice of yoga teaches you to tune into the present moment, and offers the gift of bringing awareness to Self…. first on the mat, and then gradually in all aspects of life. And it's a good work out too!

​Yoga is also a way to find peace. It is not just a series of difficult poses. It is a path to living a life which brings contentment, joy, connection and health. With practice it makes you strong and flexible in body, mind and spirit.
